1518 Riverside
These are two of the oldest homes in Grand Forks. These homes and two others were built to the same plans using materials brought down the Red River from Winnipeg.
1518 Riverside was most recently the home of Sally Thompson, formerly of the Grand Forks Herald.
1523 Lewis
This home at 1518 Riverside will need to be moved to a new location on the "dry side" of the dike.

Another former resident of this house was local architect Joseph Bell DeRemer, who designed many Grand Forks buildings.
1523 Lewis Drive. This is the only one of the four "Winnipeg" homes that would be on the "dry side" of the proposed dike.

Riverside Manor
Riverside Manor will be on the "wet side" of the dike, but probably will remain standing. It was built as St. Michael's Hospital, and was later St. Anne's Rest Home.
