Cabela's, the "World's Formost Outfitter", opened their fifth retail store in downtown East Grand Forks in November, 1999, selling hunting, fishing, and camping supplies. The store is located on Demers Ave. across from the Riverwalk Center, in the center of the rebuilt downtown. Inside the store, there is a "mountain" with wildlife mounts, and a trout stream.
