Downtown in flood
Many Roseau businesses suffered flood damage. Most downtown businesses had a foot of water in their buildings. It is uncertain how many businesses will be able to afford to reopen. Disaster assistance to businesses comes in the form of loans, and many businesses already had considerable debt.
Langlie's Supermarket lost all the frozen and refrigerated food during the flood because of power failure. They also lost the merchandise on the lower shelves when the store flooded.
