School after dike built
After the dike broke and most of Roseau flooded, residents turned their efforts to saving the school, hospital, and Polaris Industries plant. Residents of Warroad and East Grand Forks joined Roseau residents in this effort. They were sucessful in preventing significant damage to these buildings
